I always hated that Morisette song "Isn't it Ironic" because I didn't think that any of her examples in the song were irony. It was just crap. Rain on your wedding day isn't irony, it's Mother Nature. etc., etc.
Irony is being a writer and not being able to think of anything to write on your blog.
I think the snow outside, and our record low temp of 12 degrees this morning has frozen my brain.

I'm sorry you have writer's block today.
ReplyDeleteIn our family it is believed that if it rains on your wedding day you will be prosperous. We got married in FL in the middle of hurricane season and had a hurricane (Andrew) come through for our wedding. Lucky for us we weren't in Miami where it hit. All we got was buckets of rain. However, the hurrican shooed everyone away from our honeymoon and we had a nice visit to Epcot that wasn't crowded!
